Andrea Parliament Law Office Privacy Policy

Protection of Private Information and Documents Received

My law office is committed to the protection of your privacy. We treat all information received through my website, andreaparliament.com, including your registration information, with the utmost respect. By law, I must ask you to provide certain information about yourself, including your name, contact information, the organization you come from and certain other information used to verify your identity. If you choose not to provide such information, you may not be permitted to access certain website features or legal services.

My law office works diligently to ensure that it has taken all appropriate administrative and technical measures to prevent the unauthorized or unlawful use of your personally identifiable information, and to prevent any accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, such information. My law office will not sell or disclose personally identifiable information about you to any third parties except in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When your matter has been completed, you will be provided with any original documents not required by our office or other parties.  If you would prefer that we hold onto your original documents for safekeeping, we will be happy to provide this service and ask you to Sign a Safe Custody Agreement. All of our closed files are scanned and stored in digital format using 128 bit encryption for both the transference and storage of the files for a minimum of ten years.  If you require copies of documents once the file has been closed, a small administrative fee may be charged to retrieve the file from storage.

Also, my law office may place cookies on your computer to recognize you on return visits to enhance your browsing experience. You may adjust your browser settings or use other means to prevent cookies from being placed on your computer, but doing so may result in reduced functionality and a less personalized browsing experience.
